Layne McIntosh

Owner/Builder

A Seattle native, Layne has been working as a carpenter since 1986 on a wide range of projects. He has a solid set of journeyman skills and knowledge that ensures a quality final product.  From the methodical deconstruction of your home to installing the last pieces of trim, Layne has a hand on every aspect of your job. He builds things to last and takes great pride in the many fine projects he has crafted over the years.
 

Additional Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA 1988 University of Washington).  Large-scale landscape design and planning. Minor in multi-media communications.

Master’s Degree in Environmental Science (MS/Environmental Studies 2000, University of Montana).  Photography, video production, and restoration planning. 

Park planning and design in Washington and Colorado in the 90’s (City of Everett, WA and Boulder County Parks, CO).

This combination of educational and professional experience means in addition to hiring a quality general contractor, you will also benefit from Layne’s big picture views and balanced perspective as a designer, planner, environmentalist, and artist.
