What We Do

We are a full-service general contractor specializing in custom residential construction, remodeling, restoration, and repair. Owned and operated by Layne McIntosh, we have been in business since 1990 as a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor in Washington state. We are flexible and our projects range from large remodels and additions to small repairs. As the company name suggests, we believe in moving your project forward with positive energy and momentum to achieve satisfying results.

Building Green

Building Momentum has been implementing sustainable building methods for over two decades. Recycling or up-cycling construction waste, using sustainable and healthy products, and creating highly energy-efficient spaces is at the core of everything we do. Our Team

For specialty work we hire and manage an experienced team of subcontractors to do excavation, concrete, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, floors, drywall, paint, tile, and other trades who are experts in their respective fields. Our team is chosen based on experience, quality of work, and competitive pricing. With Layne's hands-on project management you are guaranteed an efficient, cost-effective, and quality experience from initial estimates to the final doorknob.
